Hapkido Cheong Kyum Association Costa Rica

We are a martial arts academy dedicated to teaching and spreading traditional Hapkido. CKA was founded in 1975 by Grand Master Seung-Woo Lee; its name means "Clear Spirit (Cheong) and Modest Mind (Kyum)". The association has chapters in Costa Rica, Colombia, the United States, Venezuela, Ecuador, Germany, Chile, Argentina, and the Dominican Republic. We are certified by Hapkido CKA Korea, led by Grand Master Suk-Hwan Choi, and by the International Director of Hapkido CKA and CKWF, Grand Master William Rayo. Hapkido CKA Costa Rica is under the guidance of Grand Master William Rayo and is represented by Masters Mario Vega and Joseph Phillips.
